Ingredients
- 1 packet (150g) Ching's Secret Just Soak Whole Wheat Hakka Noodles
- 5-6 cups water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced capsicum
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- Approximately 1/2 packet Ching's Secret Chowmein Hakka Noodles Masala
Method
- 1Boil 5-6 cups of water in a pan.
- 2Turn off the heat.
- 3Place one packet of Ching's Secret Just Soak Whole Wheat Hakka Noodles into the hot water.
- 4Cover the pan with a lid and let the noodles soak for 5 minutes.
- 5Drain the hot water from the noodles using a colander.
- 6Rinse the noodles under cool running water and gently toss with tongs to prevent sticking.
- 7Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in the same pan.
- 8Add chopped garlic and sliced onions to the hot oil and stir-fry for about one minute until lightly fragrant and slightly translucent.
- 9Add julienned green capsicum, carrots, and sliced mushrooms to the pan.
- 10Stir-fry the vegetables on high heat for 2-3 minutes, maintaining their crispness.
- 11Add the soaked and rinsed noodles to the pan with the stir-fried vegetables.
- 12Sprinkle approximately 1/2 packet of Ching's Secret Chowmein Hakka Noodles Masala over the noodles and vegetables.
- 13Thoroughly toss and mix all ingredients on high heat for a minute or two until evenly coated and seasoned.
- 14Serve the Hakka Noodles hot.
