Ingredients
- 1 small watermelon
- 1/4 cup honey or agave
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Tajin seasoning to taste
Method
- 1Slice off both ends of a small watermelon, carefully cut away the green rind, then dice the red flesh into approximately 1-inch cubes.
- 2Spread the watermelon cubes in a single layer onto a baking sheet and freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
- 3Transfer the frozen watermelon cubes into a large blender pitcher.
- 4Add the honey or agave and lemon juice to the blender.
- 5Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth, thick, and slushy, using a tamper to push down the frozen fruit if needed.
- 6Scoop the sorbet into a clear glass bowl and smooth the top with a spatula; optionally freeze again for a firmer consistency.
- 7Serve chilled, garnished with Tajin seasoning if desired.
