Ingredients
  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Tajin seasoning to taste
Method
  1. 1Slice off both ends of a small watermelon, carefully cut away the green rind, then dice the red flesh into approximately 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2Spread the watermelon cubes in a single layer onto a baking sheet and freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
  3. 3Transfer the frozen watermelon cubes into a large blender pitcher.
  4. 4Add the honey or agave and lemon juice to the blender.
  5. 5Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth, thick, and slushy, using a tamper to push down the frozen fruit if needed.
  6. 6Scoop the sorbet into a clear glass bowl and smooth the top with a spatula; optionally freeze again for a firmer consistency.
  7. 7Serve chilled, garnished with Tajin seasoning if desired.
