Ingredients
  • 1 cup dried soybeans
  • 6 cups water (for soy milk)
  • 2-3 pandan leaves
  • 1/2 cup dried Job's Tears
  • 2 cups water (for Job's Tears)
Method
  1. 1Soak dried soybeans in water overnight (8 hours).
  2. 2Drain and rinse soaked soybeans. Blend with 6 cups fresh water until smooth.
  3. 3Strain the blended mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to extract soy milk.
  4. 4Pour soy milk into a pot, add pandan leaves, and bring to a simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Remove pandan leaves from the soy milk.
  6. 6Soak dried Job's Tears for at least 4 hours.
  7. 7Drain and rinse Job's Tears. Boil them in 2 cups fresh water until tender, then drain.
  8. 8Scoop desired amount of cooked Job's Tears into a serving glass.
  9. 9Pour warm soy milk over the Job's Tears.
  10. 10Serve warm and enjoy.
