Ingredients
- 1 cup dried soybeans
- 6 cups water (for soy milk)
- 2-3 pandan leaves
- 1/2 cup dried Job's Tears
- 2 cups water (for Job's Tears)
Method
- 1Soak dried soybeans in water overnight (8 hours).
- 2Drain and rinse soaked soybeans. Blend with 6 cups fresh water until smooth.
- 3Strain the blended mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to extract soy milk.
- 4Pour soy milk into a pot, add pandan leaves, and bring to a simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5Remove pandan leaves from the soy milk.
- 6Soak dried Job's Tears for at least 4 hours.
- 7Drain and rinse Job's Tears. Boil them in 2 cups fresh water until tender, then drain.
- 8Scoop desired amount of cooked Job's Tears into a serving glass.
- 9Pour warm soy milk over the Job's Tears.
- 10Serve warm and enjoy.
