Ingredients

- 4Insert a long metal skewer through the center of the pineapple.

- 6Roast the marinated pineapple over a gas burner on a portable grill.
- 7Continuously rotate the pineapple to ensure even cooking and charring on all sides.
- 8Once adequately roasted and charred, return the pineapple on the skewer to the cake stand.
- 9Slice the cooked pineapple flesh from the core using a specialized cutting tool to yield thick pieces.
