Ingredients
  • Three small green cucumbers
  • Approximately two to three small pieces of ginger
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • Sugar syrup (quantity not specified)
  • Water (for blending)
  • Club soda (for topping)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)
Method
  1. 1Trim the ends off the cucumbers.
  2. 2Rub the cut ends of the cucumbers together.
  3. 3Peel the cucumbers using a vegetable peeler.
  4. 4Slice the peeled cucumbers into thin rounds.
  5. 5Transfer the sliced cucumbers into a blender jar.
  6. 6Add ginger pieces, mint leaves, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, and a small amount of water to the blender.
  7. 7Blend the mixture until it achieves a smooth, somewhat pulpy consistency.
  8. 8Pour the blended green mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a separate bowl.
  9. 9Press the pulp with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
  10. 10Fill clear glasses with ice cubes.
  11. 11Aesthetically garnish the inside of the glasses with long, thin strips of cucumber.
  12. 12Pour the strained cucumber and ginger base into the prepared glasses, filling them about halfway.
  13. 13Top off the drinks with club soda.
  14. 14Garnish with fresh sprigs of mint leaves.
  15. 15Serve the finished drink cold.
