  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water or broth

  1. 1Brown ground hot Italian chicken sausage in a cast-iron skillet, breaking it apart.
  2. 2Add diced white onions and red bell peppers to the skillet; sauté until vegetables soften and steam rises.
  3. 3Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. 4Pour in water or broth to create a saucy base, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  5. 5Add the block of cream cheese to the hot mixture and stir until it melts and combines, making the dip creamy.
  6. 6Mix in shredded parmesan, provolone, and spicy cheddar/fontina cheeses, basil pesto, and diced tomatoes.
  7. 7Top the dip with an additional layer of shredded provolone cheese and arrange pepperoni slices on top.
