Ingredients
  • 12 pieces frozen shrimp
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chives
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
Method
  1. 1Place frozen shrimp into a light grey saucepan, add water and Old Bay seasoning, then cook until plump and pink.
  2. 2Remove cooked shrimp from the pot and place onto a cutting board to cool.
  3. 3Finely chop the cooked shrimp using a knife and bench scraper.
  4. 4Scoop Greek yogurt into a white mixing bowl containing pre-portioned cream cheese.
  5. 5Use a handheld electric mixer to combine and whip the yogurt and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  6. 6Add yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, paprika, and dried herbs to the whipped base.
  7. 7Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a spatula until the dip base turns a uniform light brown/tan color.
  8. 8Add the finely chopped shrimp to the prepared dip base.
  9. 9Mix well with the spatula, ensuring even distribution of shrimp.
  10. 10Garnish the finished shrimp dip with freshly chopped green chives.
  11. 11Serve the shrimp dip cold with fresh celery sticks, carrot slices, cucumber, and two varieties of crackers.
