  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • Milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1-2 teaspoons espresso powder
  • 1 scoop (a few tablespoons) unflavoured whey protein
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • A few whole coffee beans
Method
  1. 1Add pre-soaked chia seeds to a mason jar containing an overnight oats and milk base.
  2. 2Sprinkle espresso powder into the jar.
  3. 3Add unflavoured whey protein powder to the jar.
  4. 4Add cinnamon powder to the mixture in the jar.
  5. 5Thoroughly stir all ingredients in the mason jar until well combined and the mixture is a uniform light brown and creamy.
  6. 6Pour the prepared overnight oats mixture from the mason jar into a clear serving glass.
  7. 7Carefully place a dollop of peanut butter on top of the oats.
  8. 8Sprinkle brown sugar generously over the peanut butter and oats.
  9. 9Garnish the dish with a few whole coffee beans for visual appeal.
