- 1/2 to 3/4 cup rolled oats
- Milk
- 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1-2 teaspoons espresso powder
- 1 scoop (a few tablespoons) unflavoured whey protein
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar
- A few whole coffee beans
Method
- 1Add pre-soaked chia seeds to a mason jar containing an overnight oats and milk base.
- 2Sprinkle espresso powder into the jar.
- 3Add unflavoured whey protein powder to the jar.
- 4Add cinnamon powder to the mixture in the jar.
- 5Thoroughly stir all ingredients in the mason jar until well combined and the mixture is a uniform light brown and creamy.
- 6Pour the prepared overnight oats mixture from the mason jar into a clear serving glass.
- 7Carefully place a dollop of peanut butter on top of the oats.
- 8Sprinkle brown sugar generously over the peanut butter and oats.
- 9Garnish the dish with a few whole coffee beans for visual appeal.
