  • Approx. 1.5 - 2 cups water
  • 1-2 tablespoons crushed/torn fresh rosemary leaves
  • Two thin, circular slices lime
  • Approximately 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Method
  1. 1Bring water to a boil in a stovetop kettle.
  2. 2Pluck fresh rosemary leaves from their sprigs.
  3. 3Lightly crush or tear the rosemary leaves by hand directly into a clear glass teacup.
  4. 4Pour the hot water from the kettle over the rosemary leaves in the cup.
  5. 5Allow the rosemary to steep in the hot water for approximately five minutes.
  6. 6Add two thin slices of lime to the tea.
  7. 7Drizzle a few drops of maple syrup into the tea to add sweetness.
  8. 8Stir the mixture thoroughly with a long, slender spoon.
