Ingredients
  • Approximately 1/4 to 1/3 cup diced mango
  • About 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • Three generous spoonfuls sabja (basil seeds), pre-soaked in water
  • A small handful fresh mint leaves
  • Four large ice cubes
  • Approximately 1.5-2 cups coconut water
  • A few fresh basil leaves
Method
  1. 1Place the diced mango pieces at the bottom of a tall, clear, can-shaped glass.
  2. 2Use a wooden muddler to vigorously mash and crush the mangoes into a pulpy texture.
  3. 3Pour honey over the mashed mangoes and muddle again to combine the sweet honey with the tangy mango.
  4. 4Carefully layer three spoonfuls of pre-soaked sabja seeds on top of the mango-honey mixture.
  5. 5Add several fresh mint leaves next, nestled on the sabja layer.
  6. 6Drop four large ice cubes into the glass, filling the space above the mint leaves.
  7. 7Pour coconut water over the ice and other ingredients, filling the glass almost to the brim.
  8. 8Garnish the drink with a few fresh basil leaves.
  9. 9Insert a metal straw and thoroughly stir the drink to mix all the layered components before tasting.
