  • 2 large spoonfuls red curry paste
  • 1-2 tablespoons red chili flakes
  • 3-4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 handful chopped green onions
  • Liberal pour of sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Large handful fresh chopped cilantro
  • Large handful fresh chopped Thai basil
  • Multiple frozen pre-made potstickers
Method
  1. 1Add butter and red curry paste to a hot pan.
  2. 2Add red chili flakes, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and light-colored oil to the pan and stir vigorously.
  3. 3Toss in crushed peanuts and sesame seeds, then stir.
  4. 4Pour in tamari or soy sauce, followed by broth, then stir and bring to a simmer.
  5. 5Mix fresh chopped cilantro and Thai basil into the simmering sauce.
  6. 6Separately, boil frozen potstickers in plain water until cooked.
  7. 7Transfer the cooked potstickers directly into the pan with the simmering red curry garlic broth.
  8. 8Toss the potstickers to ensure they are thoroughly coated in the sauce.
  9. 9Garnish the final dish with fresh Thai basil, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds before serving.
