Ingredients
  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 cup basil pesto
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 cup grated provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 (8 oz) ball burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup microgreens
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp flaked sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Method
  1. 1Knead and shape pizza dough on a floured surface.
  2. 2Thinly slice potatoes using a mandoline.
  3. 3Place dough on parchment paper and spread basil pesto across its surface.
  4. 4Scatter thinly sliced shallots and a generous amount of grated provolone cheese over the pesto.
  5. 5Arrange thinly sliced potatoes over the cheese.
  6. 6Fold inwards and pinch the edges of the dough to form a rustic crust.
  7. 7Drizzle olive oil over the crust and sprinkle generously with white sesame seeds.
  8. 8Add more grated cheese over the potato layer, then arrange thinly sliced prosciutto and fresh basil leaves on top.
  9. 9Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven until golden brown and crispy.
  10. 10After baking, break apart the burrata cheese over the hot pizza, allowing it to melt slightly.
  11. 11Scatter microgreens over the burrata and prosciutto.
  12. 12Serve immediately, with an optional final drizzle of olive oil.
