Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper finely chopped
  • 1-1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for rolling)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (to cook)
Method
  1. 1Combine all-purpose flour, dough salt, sugar, yeast, and dough oil in a bowl and mix.
  2. 2Gradually add lukewarm water and knead into a soft, smooth dough ball.
  3. 3Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for about an hour until doubled.
  4. 4Finely chop mushrooms, bell peppers, and jalapeno for the filling.
  5. 5In a separate bowl, combine chopped vegetables with oregano, basil, filling salt, chili flakes, and tomato paste; mix well.
  6. 6Add shredded mozzarella cheese to the vegetable mixture and mix thoroughly.
  7. 7Take a portion of the risen dough, dust with flour, and roll into a 6-inch diameter circle.
  8. 8Place about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the prepared filling in the center of the dough and seal it completely.
  9. 9Gently flatten the filled dough ball, then use a rolling pin to roll it into a paratha.
  10. 10Generously grease a griddle and cook the paratha, flipping until both sides are golden brown and cooked through.
