- Dry quinoa
- Water (1.75 times the volume of quinoa)
- Salt (to taste)
Method
- 1Rinse dry quinoa under running tap water until the water appears clear to remove bitterness.
- 2(Optional) Heat a pan on an induction stovetop and sauté the rinsed quinoa for about one minute for perfect texture.
- 3Pour water over the quinoa in the pan, stir the mixture, and bring it to a boil.
- 4Place a glass lid on the pan and simmer for 10 minutes on slow heat.
- 5After 10 minutes, remove the lid briefly, cook for another 2-3 minutes, then switch off the heat.
- 6Place the lid back on the pan and let the quinoa rest for 5 minutes.
- 7Remove the lid and gently fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork or spoon to separate the grains.
