Ingredients
  • Dry quinoa
  • Water (1.75 times the volume of quinoa)
  • Salt (to taste)
Method
  1. 1Rinse dry quinoa under running tap water until the water appears clear to remove bitterness.
  2. 2(Optional) Heat a pan on an induction stovetop and sauté the rinsed quinoa for about one minute for perfect texture.
  3. 3Pour water over the quinoa in the pan, stir the mixture, and bring it to a boil.
  4. 4Place a glass lid on the pan and simmer for 10 minutes on slow heat.
  5. 5After 10 minutes, remove the lid briefly, cook for another 2-3 minutes, then switch off the heat.
  6. 6Place the lid back on the pan and let the quinoa rest for 5 minutes.
  7. 7Remove the lid and gently fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork or spoon to separate the grains.
