  • 1/2 cup Tao Jiew based sauce
  • 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
  • 1/2 bunch chopped Chinese chives
Method
  1. 1Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  2. 2Add cubed tofu, chopped shallots, and minced garlic to the hot oil and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. 3Add pre-prepared flat rice noodles to the pan with the aromatics.
  4. 4Pour a generous amount of the brown 'tao jiew' based sauce over the noodles.
  5. 5Vigorously stir and toss the mixture to ensure noodles are thoroughly coated and cooked through.
  6. 6Introduce fresh bean sprouts and mix them into the noodles.
  7. 7Finally, add the chopped Chinese chives and toss briefly before serving.
