Ingredients
- Matcha powder: 1-2 teaspoons, sifted
- Warm water: about 1/4 cup
- Milk: roughly 1 cup
- Vanilla syrup: a generous drizzle
- Ice cubes
- Mango puree: 1/4 to 1/2 cup
- Sugar: approximately 1 teaspoon
- Milk: about 1/2 to 3/4 cup
- Fresh cream: about 1/4 cup
- Sugar: approximately 1-2 teaspoons
- Coconut water: roughly 1 cup
Method
- 1For the Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte, sift matcha powder into a mug, add about 1/4 cup warm water, and vigorously whisk until frothy.
- 2In a tall glass, pour roughly 1 cup of milk and a generous drizzle of vanilla syrup, then fill with ice cubes.
- 3Carefully pour the frothy matcha over the ice and milk to create distinct layers, then stir thoroughly with a metal straw before drinking.
- 4For the Mango Matcha Latte, pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup of mango puree into a ribbed glass, add approximately 1 teaspoon of sugar, and mix well.
- 5Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of milk over them, then layer pre-prepared frothed matcha on top to complete the drink, and stir with a metal straw.
- 6For the Creamy Coconut Matcha, sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl, add approximately 1-2 teaspoons of sugar and about 1/4 cup of fresh cream.
- 7Use an electric frother to whisk the matcha, sugar, and cream until a smooth, thick, and creamy bright green mixture forms.
- 8In a double-walled glass, add round ice cubes and pour roughly 1 cup of coconut water over them.
- 9Gently pour the creamy matcha mixture on top of the coconut water and ice.
