  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup diced alphonso mangoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream or milk
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon clear syrup
  • 1/2 cup fizzy fruit drink
Method
  1. 1Add diced alphonso mangoes, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar into a tall, clear glass.
  2. 2Muddle the mangoes and sugars at the bottom of the glass using a wooden muddler to create a pulpy mango layer.
  3. 3Set aside the glass with the muddled mango.
  4. 4Add matcha powder into a second empty tall glass.
  5. 5Pour fresh cream or milk over the matcha powder.
  6. 6Use a handheld frother to vigorously mix and froth the matcha mixture until it is light green and foamy.
  7. 7Retrieve the glass containing the muddled mango.
  8. 8Place several ice cubes on top of the mango layer.
  9. 9Drizzle a small amount of clear syrup over the ice.
  10. 10Pour a red-colored fizzy fruit drink over the ice, forming an orange-red layer.
  11. 11Carefully pour the frothed green matcha cream on top of the fizzy layer to create the third layer.
  12. 12Insert a metal straw into the completed layered drink.
  13. 13Lightly stir the drink before consuming.
