- 1/4 to 1/3 cup diced alphonso mangoes
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1/2 cup fresh cream or milk
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon clear syrup
- 1/2 cup fizzy fruit drink
Method
- 1Add diced alphonso mangoes, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar into a tall, clear glass.
- 2Muddle the mangoes and sugars at the bottom of the glass using a wooden muddler to create a pulpy mango layer.
- 3Set aside the glass with the muddled mango.
- 4Add matcha powder into a second empty tall glass.
- 5Pour fresh cream or milk over the matcha powder.
- 6Use a handheld frother to vigorously mix and froth the matcha mixture until it is light green and foamy.
- 7Retrieve the glass containing the muddled mango.
- 8Place several ice cubes on top of the mango layer.
- 9Drizzle a small amount of clear syrup over the ice.
- 10Pour a red-colored fizzy fruit drink over the ice, forming an orange-red layer.
- 11Carefully pour the frothed green matcha cream on top of the fizzy layer to create the third layer.
- 12Insert a metal straw into the completed layered drink.
- 13Lightly stir the drink before consuming.
