Ingredients
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated bottle gourd
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/8 teaspoon asafetida
- 2 whole red chilies
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1Heat oil in a pan.
- 2Add cumin seeds, asafetida, and red chilies, and let them sizzle.
- 3Add grated bottle gourd, chopped cilantro, green chilies, minced ginger, and salt to the pan.
- 4Stir-fry for about 3 minutes until the bottle gourd is tender.
- 5Set aside the cooked bottle gourd mixture to cool completely.
- 6Whisk yogurt in a bowl until smooth.
- 7Gradually add milk to the yogurt, mixing until it reaches a smooth, thin consistency.
- 8Add the cooled bottle gourd mixture to the prepared yogurt and stir to combine.
- 9Serve chilled as a side dish.
