  • Approx. 2-3 tablespoons za'atar
  • Approx. 1-2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  • Approx. 2-3 tablespoons sumac powder
  • Approx. 1-2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • A small amount microgreens
  • A generous amount extra virgin olive oil
Method
  1. 1Scoop a portion of the hung yogurt, about a quarter cup, into your palm.
  2. 2Roll the hung yogurt by hand into a smooth, spherical ball.
  3. 3Repeat the process to form several balls.
  4. 4Prepare the first coating mixture by placing za'atar and chopped pistachios in a small bowl.
  5. 5Prepare the second coating mixture by sprinkling sumac powder and topping it with chopped walnuts on a plate.
  6. 6Place one labneh ball into the za'atar and pistachio mixture, then gently roll and press to fully coat it.
  7. 7Place another labneh ball onto the sumac and walnut mixture, then coat it similarly.
  8. 8Coat a third ball with a mix of sumac, walnuts, and microgreens.
  9. 9Arrange the three coated labneh balls carefully in a serving bowl.
  10. 10Generously pour extra virgin olive oil over the arranged labneh balls.
