Ingredients
- Hung yogurt (labneh)
- Approx. 2-3 tablespoons za'atar
- Approx. 1-2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
- Approx. 2-3 tablespoons sumac powder
- Approx. 1-2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- A small amount microgreens
- A generous amount extra virgin olive oil
Method
- 1Scoop a portion of the hung yogurt, about a quarter cup, into your palm.
- 2Roll the hung yogurt by hand into a smooth, spherical ball.
- 3Repeat the process to form several balls.
- 4Prepare the first coating mixture by placing za'atar and chopped pistachios in a small bowl.
- 5Prepare the second coating mixture by sprinkling sumac powder and topping it with chopped walnuts on a plate.
- 6Place one labneh ball into the za'atar and pistachio mixture, then gently roll and press to fully coat it.
- 7Place another labneh ball onto the sumac and walnut mixture, then coat it similarly.
- 8Coat a third ball with a mix of sumac, walnuts, and microgreens.
- 9Arrange the three coated labneh balls carefully in a serving bowl.
- 10Generously pour extra virgin olive oil over the arranged labneh balls.
