  • 3 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups ricotta cheese

Method
  1. 1Pour 3 cups of milk into a non-stick pan and place on a stove burner.
  2. 2Bring the milk to a boil and stir frequently until it reduces by half and thickens, about 15 minutes.
  3. 3Add 1.5 cups of ricotta cheese to the thickened milk and mix thoroughly.
  4. 4Stir in 0.25 cup of granulated sugar until fully incorporated, cooking for another 5-6 minutes.
  5. 5Sprinkle 0.25 teaspoon of cardamom powder into the mixture and mix.
  6. 6Transfer the cooked Kalakand into a serving bowl.
  7. 7Garnish with crystalline sugar and crushed pistachios.
