  • 2 medium ice apples
  • 1 tsp gond katira
  • 1 whole green coconut
  • 5 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp rock salt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Ice cubes
Method
  1. 1Place pre-soaked gond katira and some ice cubes into a clear glass pitcher.
  2. 2Carefully cut open a fresh green coconut and pour its water into the pitcher.
  3. 3Scrape out the tender white flesh from inside the coconut.
  4. 4Finely chop the scraped coconut flesh and fresh mint leaves.
  5. 5Add the chopped coconut flesh and mint leaves to the pitcher.
  6. 6Add rock salt and squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the pitcher.
  7. 7Add more ice cubes to the pitcher.
  8. 8Seal the pitcher and vigorously shake to thoroughly mix all ingredients and chill the drink.
  9. 9Pour the prepared cooler into a tall serving glass.
  10. 10Add additional ice cubes to the serving glass.
  11. 11Garnish the serving glass with a small piece of ice apple on the rim and extra chopped mint leaves.
