- 2 medium ice apples
- 1 tsp gond katira
- 1 whole green coconut
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp rock salt
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Ice cubes
Method
- 1Place pre-soaked gond katira and some ice cubes into a clear glass pitcher.
- 2Carefully cut open a fresh green coconut and pour its water into the pitcher.
- 3Scrape out the tender white flesh from inside the coconut.
- 4Finely chop the scraped coconut flesh and fresh mint leaves.
- 5Add the chopped coconut flesh and mint leaves to the pitcher.
- 6Add rock salt and squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the pitcher.
- 7Add more ice cubes to the pitcher.
- 8Seal the pitcher and vigorously shake to thoroughly mix all ingredients and chill the drink.
- 9Pour the prepared cooler into a tall serving glass.
- 10Add additional ice cubes to the serving glass.
- 11Garnish the serving glass with a small piece of ice apple on the rim and extra chopped mint leaves.
