  • 1.5-2 cups cold milk
  • A handful almonds
  • A handful cashews
  • A small handful chopped pistachios
  • 1-2 tablespoons Thandai powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons jaggery powder
  • A pinch saffron strands
Method
  1. 1Pour 1.5-2 cups of cold milk into a portable blender.
  2. 2Add the soaked almonds, cashews, and chopped pistachios to the milk.
  3. 3Add 1-2 tablespoons of Thandai powder.
  4. 4Add 1-2 tablespoons of jaggery powder.
  5. 5Add a pinch of saffron strands to the mixture.
  6. 6Close the blender and blend all the ingredients until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and well combined.
  7. 7Serve the Thandai chilled in small, traditional brown clay cups (kulhads).
  8. 8Garnish each serving with a few strands of saffron on top.
