Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- Few drops vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup melted dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup melted white chocolate
Method
- 1Combine clear liquid (oil), eggs, creamy white substance (sour cream), milk, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl for the cupcake batter.
- 2Mix thoroughly with a stand mixer until smooth.
- 3Add dry ingredients including flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder/soda to the wet mixture.
- 4Use the stand mixer again to incorporate everything, resulting in a smooth, dark brown batter.
- 5Scoop the batter into white paper cupcake liners placed in a muffin tin.
- 6While cupcakes are presumably baking, prepare the marshmallow fluff by combining egg whites and granulated sugar in a glass bowl.
- 7Whip the egg whites and sugar vigorously with a stand mixer until they form stiff, glossy white peaks.
- 8Once the cupcakes are baked and cooled, use a small paring knife to cut a circular hole into the center of each, removing a cone of cake.
- 9Generously spoon or pipe the prepared marshmallow fluff into these cavities, forming a dome on top of each cupcake.
- 10Dip each filled cupcake into the melted dark chocolate glaze.
- 11Adorn the glazed cupcakes with a distinctive squiggly line using melted white chocolate.
