Ingredients
  • 250 g maida
  • 1/2 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp warm milk
  • Salt per taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Water as needed
Method
  1. 1Add yeast and sugar to warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes to activate.
  2. 2In a bowl, add maida and salt.
  3. 3Pour in the activated yeast mixture, add water as needed, and add softened butter.
  4. 4Knead the ingredients vigorously by hand for 6-7 minutes to form a soft and pliable dough.
  5. 5Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 45 minutes.
  6. 6Grease a tray with butter, then divide the risen dough into 6 equal portions, shape into balls, and place them on the tray.
  7. 7Lightly grease the shaped buns with melted butter, cover, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  8. 8Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  9. 9Place the tray with the buns into the preheated oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. 10Serve the baked buns warm, optionally by slicing and generously spreading butter inside.
