- Approximately two spoonfuls dried hibiscus petals
- Hot water
- A handful ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves
Method
- 1Add two spoonfuls of dried hibiscus petals into a metal strainer.
- 2Place the strainer inside a clear glass teapot.
- 3Carefully pour hot water over the petals, filling the teapot.
- 4Cover the teapot with its lid.
- 5Leave the tea to steep for two to three minutes.
- 6For a hot serving, pour the tea directly into a clear glass.
- 7For an iced version, first add ice cubes to a separate clear glass.
- 8Then, pour the tea over the ice cubes.
- 9Garnish each glass of iced tea with a fresh sprig of mint.
