Ingredients
- 2-4 heirloom tomatoes (any color)
- 1-2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1-2 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ tsp cracked black pepper
- Salt to taste
Method
- 1Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thin, uniform rounds on a wooden cutting board.
- 2Arrange the sliced tomato rounds on a large platter, placing red slices first to form a base and then adding green/yellow slices on top for visual contrast.
- 3Generously drizzle extra-virgin olive oil over all the arranged tomato slices.
- 4Evenly sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the entire platter of tomatoes.
- 5Grind fresh black pepper over the salad.
- 6Sprinkle coarse sea salt flakes over the salad to complete the seasoning.
- 7Serve the heirloom tomato salad immediately.
