Ingredients
  • 2-4 heirloom tomatoes (any color)
  • 1-2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ tsp cracked black pepper
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. 1Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thin, uniform rounds on a wooden cutting board.
  2. 2Arrange the sliced tomato rounds on a large platter, placing red slices first to form a base and then adding green/yellow slices on top for visual contrast.
  3. 3Generously drizzle extra-virgin olive oil over all the arranged tomato slices.
  4. 4Evenly sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the entire platter of tomatoes.
  5. 5Grind fresh black pepper over the salad.
  6. 6Sprinkle coarse sea salt flakes over the salad to complete the seasoning.
  7. 7Serve the heirloom tomato salad immediately.
