  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • Around 1 cup milk
  • About 1 tablespoon black chia seeds
  • Approximately 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Thinly sliced red apple
  • Green pumpkin seeds for garnishing
  • Walnuts for garnishing
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon powder
Method
  1. 1Add rolled oats to a clear glass bowl.
  2. 2Pour milk over the oats in the bowl.
  3. 3Add black chia seeds and maple syrup to the bowl.
  4. 4Thoroughly stir the mixture with a spoon until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. 5Cover the bowl with a lid and refrigerate overnight or for several hours.
  6. 6The next day, remove the lid and stir the thickened oats mixture.
  7. 7Transfer a layer of the prepared oats to a smaller, decorative glass jar.
  8. 8Arrange thin slices of red apple vertically against the inside wall of the jar.
  9. 9Spoon more oats mixture on top of the apple layer.
  10. 10Garnish the dish with additional apple slices, green pumpkin seeds, and walnuts.
  11. 11Dust generously with cinnamon powder to complete the dish.
