Ingredients
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup rolled oats
- Around 1 cup milk
- About 1 tablespoon black chia seeds
- Approximately 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Thinly sliced red apple
- Green pumpkin seeds for garnishing
- Walnuts for garnishing
- A sprinkle of cinnamon powder
Method
- 1Add rolled oats to a clear glass bowl.
- 2Pour milk over the oats in the bowl.
- 3Add black chia seeds and maple syrup to the bowl.
- 4Thoroughly stir the mixture with a spoon until all ingredients are well combined.
- 5Cover the bowl with a lid and refrigerate overnight or for several hours.
- 6The next day, remove the lid and stir the thickened oats mixture.
- 7Transfer a layer of the prepared oats to a smaller, decorative glass jar.
- 8Arrange thin slices of red apple vertically against the inside wall of the jar.
- 9Spoon more oats mixture on top of the apple layer.
- 10Garnish the dish with additional apple slices, green pumpkin seeds, and walnuts.
- 11Dust generously with cinnamon powder to complete the dish.
