Ingredients

Method
- 1Mash boiled potatoes, then add flour, ground black pepper, and salt, kneading until a smooth, cohesive dough forms.
- 2Divide the dough into two equal portions, roll each into a long cylindrical rope, and cut into small, bite-sized gnocchi pieces.
- 3Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil, add the raw gnocchi pieces, and cook until they float to the surface.
- 4In a frying pan, heat butter and cooking oil, then add minced garlic and finely chopped red onions or shallots and sauté until light brown and fragrant.
- 5Pour in cooking cream, add a processed cheese slice, and stir continuously until the cheese melts and blends into the cream.
- 6Add milk and mix in, then sprinkle in red chili flakes, dried mixed herbs, and salt to taste, stirring thoroughly to combine.
- 7Transfer the cooked gnocchi into the pan with the creamy sauce, add fresh, chopped spinach leaves, and gently stir to coat.
- 8Allow the mixture to simmer for approximately two minutes, during which the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens, then sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and more red chili flakes.
- 9Scoop the finished gnocchi from the frying pan into a serving bowl and garnish with black pepper, red chili flakes, and chili oil.
