Ingredients
  • 1 package spicy Italian chicken sausage
  • 1 medium white onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 400ml chicken bone broth
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 1/2 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh chopped herbs for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes for garnish
Method
  1. 1Sauté ground spicy Italian chicken sausage in a pot until browned and crumbled.
  2. 2Add chopped white onions and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until onions are softened.
  3. 3Stir in sliced carrots, chopped celery, and Italian seasoning.
  4. 4Pour in chicken bone broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.
