Ingredients
  • 100g walnuts
  • 400g condensed milk
  • 150g dark chocolate
Method
  1. 1Pour whole walnuts into a non-stick pan and dry-roast them over a low flame, stirring until fragrant.
  2. 2Transfer the roasted walnuts to a cutting board, coarsely chop them, and set aside a portion for garnish.
  3. 3Pour condensed milk into a clean non-stick pan and add the pre-chopped dark chocolate.
  4. 4Continuously stir the mixture over a low to medium flame until the chocolate melts, blends with condensed milk, and thickens to a glossy dark brown paste that pulls away from the pan sides.
  5. 5Add the majority of the chopped walnuts to the thickened chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
  6. 6Transfer the chocolate walnut mixture into a square metal tin lined with parchment paper, then spread and press it evenly.
  7. 7Sprinkle the remaining chopped walnuts generously over the top of the fudge mixture.
  8. 8Chill the fudge in the tin for four to five hours until completely set.
  9. 9Once set, remove the solid fudge block from the tin and place it on a cutting board.
  10. 10Cut the fudge into uniform square pieces and arrange them on a platter for serving.
