Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 3.5 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp crushed green cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped cashews
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds
Method
  1. 1Blend 1 cup shredded carrots with 1 cup milk until smooth paste.
  2. 2In a pan, combine 2-3 cups milk, remaining 1 cup shredded carrots, and carrot-milk paste.
  3. 3Bring mixture to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4Continue to simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring and scraping sides until thickened.
  5. 5Add sugar, crushed cardamom powder, chopped cashews, and sliced almonds.
  6. 6Stir well to combine and serve warm or chilled.
