Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 3.5 cups milk
- 0.5 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 tsp crushed green cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp chopped cashews
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds
Method
- 1Blend 1 cup shredded carrots with 1 cup milk until smooth paste.
- 2In a pan, combine 2-3 cups milk, remaining 1 cup shredded carrots, and carrot-milk paste.
- 3Bring mixture to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4Continue to simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring and scraping sides until thickened.
- 5Add sugar, crushed cardamom powder, chopped cashews, and sliced almonds.
- 6Stir well to combine and serve warm or chilled.
