Ingredients
- Cubes of low-fat paneer
- A few spoonfuls of mayonnaise
- Salt
- Two eggs
- Pepper
- Fresh green lettuce leaves
- Chilli flakes
- A small amount of cooking oil
Method
- 1Add cubes of paneer to a blender.
- 2Add a generous spoonful of mayonnaise and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- 3Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth, creamy, white spread.
- 4Stir the blended spread with a spoon to ensure even consistency.
- 5Whisk two eggs.
- 6Pour the whisked eggs into a small, hot frying pan with a little oil to create a thin, round omelet.
- 7Cook the omelet until set and lightly golden, then flip to cook briefly on the other side.
- 8Lay out several fresh green lettuce leaves flat on a wooden cutting board.
- 9Evenly spread a generous amount of the homemade cheese spread across the lettuce leaves.
- 10Sprinkle chilli flakes over the cheese spread.
- 11Carefully place the cooked egg omelet on top of the spread-covered lettuce.
- 12Optionally, add a little more cheese spread to the omelet layer.
- 13Meticulously roll up the entire assembly of lettuce, spread, and omelet into a tight cylindrical shape.
- 14Cut the roll into two equal halves.
