Ingredients
- 12 ounces hoagie rolls
- 7 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 stick butter
- 1.5-2 cups water
- Caramel sauce

- 1Cube hoagie rolls into large chunks and set aside.
- 2In a large bowl, gently whisk 7 large eggs.
- 3Add 1 cup sugar, ¾ tsp cinnamon powder, 2 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 cup heavy whipping cream to eggs; whisk well.
- 4Stir in 1 stick melted butter (not hot).
- 5Add 1.5 to 2 cups water and mix thoroughly.
- 6Add cubed bread to the liquid mixture and gently fold until liquid is absorbed.
- 7Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- 8Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- 9Pour bread pudding mixture into the pan and spread evenly.
- 10Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- 11Let rest for 5 minutes after baking.
- 12Serve warm with homemade caramel sauce.
