Method
  1. 1Prepare the filling by combining shredded coconut, salt, chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, and sliced almonds.
  2. 2Cut circular discs from white bread slices, removing the crusts.
  3. 3Place a spoonful of filling onto each bread disc, fold in half, and press edges to seal.
  4. 4Arrange the filled bread vadas on a baking tray.
  5. 5Toast the vadas in a toaster oven until light golden-brown on both sides.
  6. 6Briefly soak the toasted vadas in water, then gently press out excess water.
  7. 7Arrange the softened vadas on a serving plate.
  8. 8Pour a generous amount of plain yogurt over the vadas to cover them.
  9. 9Sprinkle with salt and red chili powder, then drizzle with tamarind chutney and green chutney.
