- Black carrots
- Mustard seeds, powdered

- Water
- Fermented red carrot pieces (optional, for serving)

Method
- 1Chop the black carrots.
- 2Combine the chopped black carrots with water, powdered mustard seeds, black pepper, cumin, carom seeds, black salt, and white salt.
- 3Allow the mixture to ferment in large containers for 14 days.
- 4Before serving, vigorously stir the fermented Kaanji liquid.
- 5Pour the Kaanji liquid into serving cups or bottles.
- 6Add slices of fermented black carrot to the served drink.
- 7Optionally, add fermented red carrot pieces and Haazmola masala to the served drink.
