Ingredients
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 c natural nut butter
  • 1 tbsp almond flour
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Walnuts (optional)
Method
  1. 1Place two peeled bananas in a white ceramic mixing bowl and thoroughly mash until a lumpy paste is achieved.
  2. 2Sprinkle 1/2 tsp baking powder over the mashed bananas.
  3. 3Crack and add 1 medium egg to the bowl.
  4. 4Add 1/4 c natural nut butter to the mixture.
  5. 5Add 1 tbsp almond flour to the mixture.
  6. 6Vigorously whisk all ingredients together until a smooth, uniform, light brown batter is formed.
  7. 7Fold in a handful of dark chocolate chips and chopped walnuts if using.
  8. 8Preheat the oven to 360 F.
  9. 9Bake in a white ceramic baking dish at 360 F for 27-35 minutes.
