Ingredients
- Pre-prepared bael juice: fill one-third to half of glass
- Chaat masala and chili powder: for rimming glass
- Chaat masala: approximately 1/4 teaspoon
- Black salt: a pinch
- Chili powder: a very small pinch
- Ice cubes: fill three-quarters of glass capacity
- Water: approximately half a glass
- Lime/lemon juice: from about half a lime/lemon
- Mint leaves: a small sprig
Method
- 1Coat the rim of a tall glass with a mixture of chaat masala and chili powder.
- 2Pour pre-prepared bael juice into the rimmed glass, filling it about one-third to half full.
- 3Add approximately 1/4 teaspoon of chaat masala, a pinch of black salt, and a very small pinch of chili powder to the juice in the glass.
- 4Briefly stir the contents with a spoon to mix the spices with the bael juice.
- 5Drop several ice cubes into the glass, filling it to about three-quarters of its capacity.
- 6Pour clear water into the glass, filling it to the brim.
- 7Squeeze the juice from about half a fresh lime or lemon directly into the drink.
- 8Garnish the drink with a sprig of fresh mint leaves.
- 9Give the drink a final stir and serve chilled.
