Ingredients
- 400 gm paneer
- 1 large onion
- 2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 dry bay leaf
- 1 black cardamom
- 6 green cardamoms
- 6 cloves
- 2 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tsp Shahi Jeera
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Sabzi Masala
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Kasoori Methi
- Chopped coriander leaves
- 5 tbsp oil
Method
- 1Boil onion and whole spices, then blend into a smooth paste.
- 2Soak almonds, then blend with milk to create a smooth paste.
- 3Shallow fry paneer until golden, then soak in hot water.
- 4In a pan, saute Shahi Jeera, ginger, garlic, and spice powders.
- 5Add blended onion and almond pastes to the pan and cook until oil separates.
- 6Stir in milk, salt, sugar (optional), and Kasoori Methi, then simmer until thickened.
- 7Add fried paneer to the gravy and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
